The Association is supporting a fund raising event to announce the launch of a unique publication that traces the design, contruction and opening of the Messines memorial in 1924 and follows the history of the Regiments trips to Belgium to honour the brave volunteers who fell at the Battle of Messines in 1914. The memorial is in need to repair and restoration which this is aimed at supporting.

The week of the 5 to 11 May will see the Drilll Hall, Museum open to display the ending of WW2 and have a series of living history and events to celebrate the end of the war in Europe.

We will be holding Open House in support of the Open House Festival. The building will be open for all public who wish to visit and see the historic Grade 2 building, explore the museum, and meet the Pipes and Drums. Booking will be via the Open House Festival website.

We will be holding our annual event which celebrates the Regimental battle at Messines in Belgium, the dinner will also see the Pipes and Drums play.
