London Scottish House (LSH) is a Grade 2 listed charity run social enterprise that has been a part of the London community for over 130 years. Based in Westminster and with a strong affiliation to Scotland, LSH has an inclusive and diverse community.
This unique Grade 2 Listed Building serves as a unique event venue with a rich heritage and has accommodation for you to further enjoy your stay in SW1. We also offer flexible and affordable hot-desking, licensed office and virtual office services. We also have unique secure parking facilities available for use, see parking for information.
Furthermore, LSH proudly supports businesses and projects that do good in the community and brings people together to celebrate heritage and the arts through its facilities.

Details of LSH VE80 events
The week of the 8th to the 11th May sees London Scottish House holding a series of VE80 commentrative events. These reflect the Scottish Regiments (London Scottish Regiment, The Gordon Highlanders Regiment) and Scots living in London during WW2. we are pleased to involve the Irish Rifles brigade association who are involved with a major conference. There will be displays arranged in the Drill Hall to reflect the London scottish Regiment and local Community during WW2. Details are indicated below with links to register your attendance to this unique series of events. We have also produced with the collaboration of the Scots in London organisation a unique publication reflecting the VE80 anniversary which can be dowloaded from the link below.

The BBC’s diplomatic correspondent James Landale chairs an expert panel featuring:
- Sir Malcolm Rifkind, former Foreign Secretary
- Professor Lucy Noakes , Author and Historian
- Professor David Fergusson, Regius Professor of Divinity, University of Cambridge
8th may: VE 80 Cocktail Party
6.00pm London Scottish House
Italian themed London Scottish Regiment and Gordon Highlanders combined event to celebrate the ending of WW2 reflecting their engagement in the Italian front combined operations.
- Drinks and Hors D'oeuvres will be served,
- Minister of St. Columba's will reflect cessation of fighting at the WW2 Memorial,
- Commenorative wreath will be laid
- London Scottish Pipes and Drums will Beat Retreat
- Senior Association Member will provide a brief overview and thanks.
The London Scottish Regiment museum will be open to visitors and guests.
10th May: The Peace in Europe Conference
09:00 - 17:00 London Scottish House
The Peace in Europe Conference will examine the legacy and contemporary resonance of the end of the Second World War. There are more than 20 speakers including representatives of museums, regimental association executives and Second World War history enthusiasts. Admission is free for registered delegates.
