The book contains useen images that reflect the design, original 1924 dedication and Remembrance events since 1924 to the present day. This is a pictoral history of the London Scottish Regiment, The Association and the Pipes and Drums showing the individuals and memories taken by members of the Regiment, Friends and colleagues over the years. The history covers the battle, design of the memorisl, the 1924 unveiling, and pilgrimages since then. The book serves to honour those who were lost during the Battle of Messines in 1914 and support through raising restoration funds. Monies paid for this book will all go to the Memorial Restoration Fund.

The Battle of Messines 1914 Memorial. Designed by Oliver Hill RIBA who was also a London Scottish serving soldier.
Oliver also designed the London Scottish Drill Hall WW2 memorial in 1952, and St Columbas' Church London Scottish Regimantal Chapel in Belgravia.
